In order to recognise and encourage local university students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance with diverse talents and a strong dedication to community service, the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation hosted the annual “For Our Future Scholarship” on 28 April 2026.
Joy Cai YuJing, a Year 4 student from the Department of Economics and Finance at Hong Kong Shue Yan University, was awarded the Scholarship, receiving HK$50,000.
💬 Student Reflection
It is my great honour to receive the 6th For Our Future Scholarship 2025/26. As a prestigious territory-wide scholarship in Hong Kong, being selected from a large pool of applicants brings me tremendous recognition, pride and motivation for my future journey.
I would like to thank the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation for this honour, and the Department of Economics and Finance, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, for their academic guidance and nomination over the past four years. During my studies, I have devoted myself to professional learning in economics and finance, while actively taking part in volunteer and community services to broaden my horizons.
As a graduating student, this scholarship encourages me to further consolidate my professional knowledge. I will keep striving for excellence in my future career and live up to this honour by contributing to society with my expertise.
