Student team from Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) achieved second runner-up at the prestigious HSBC/HKU Business Case Competition 2026, held at the headquarters of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited on 7 March. Competing against nine universities across Hong Kong, our team demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and professionalism.
The team comprised three talented members: Sam Wee Yat-sing (Year 4, Business Administration), Elaine Liu Xiaoyi (Year 2, Business Administration), and Aurora Liu Xiaoyi (Year 2, Law and Business). Guided by their coach, Dr Brian Wong, they impressed the judges with their innovative thinking and collaborative spirit.
This achievement not only highlights their hard work and commitment, but also reflects the strong academic environment fostered at HKSYU. This accomplishment serves as an inspiration to all students, demonstrating the rewards of teamwork and perseverance in the face of challenging competition.
