Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) has been successful in obtaining HK$7.4 million in funding for 10 research projects under the Research Grants Council (RGC)’s 2021/2022 Competitive Research Funding Schemes for the Local Self-financing Degree Sector.
Among the 10 successful research proposals, eight are funded under the Faculty Development Scheme (FDS), two are under the Inter-Institutional Development Scheme (IIDS) (see table).
Regarding the subject areas of the eight successful FDS projects, six are in the “Humanities and Social Sciences” discipline, and the other two are in the “Engineering” discipline.
