Hong Kong Shue Yan University hosted its 36th Athletic Meet at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground, with 189 participants including students, exchange students, staff, and alumni.
Senior management—President Dr Hu Fai-chung, Senior Vice President Professor Sun Tien-lun, Vice President (University Administration) Dr Chow Tak-sang, Vice President (Graduate School) Professor Hue Ming-tak, Associate Academic Vice President (Teaching and Learning Development) Dr Wong Ka-ki, and Associate Vice President (Student Affairs) Ms Yip Sau-yin—together with department representatives, and administrative leaders, were present to cheer on the athletes.
In his address, Dr Chow praised the participants’ sportsmanship, remarking: “The Athletic Meet has always been more than just a competition. It is a platform where resilience is strengthened, and our sense of belonging is deepened. Many of you not only competed, but also contributed as event helpers, demonstrating teamwork, leadership, and a willingness to serve.”
