On 30 October 2026, Hong Kong Shue Yan University held its annual President’s List Ceremony to honour Year 1 to Year 3 students who earned a yearly GPA of 3.5 or above and were named to the Honour Roll for two consecutive semesters in the 2025/26 academic year. Out of more than 3,600 students across 12 departments, 236 were recognised for their outstanding academic performance.

Dr HU Fai-chung, President of HKSYU, praised the awardees for their sustained effort and diligence, which led to excellent grades over the past two semesters. He highlighted that the President’s List serves two key purposes: to reinforce the University’s commitment to academic achievement and to recognise the intellectual accomplishments of the recipients. Dr Hu also encouraged the recipients to maintain their momentum in future academic endeavours, expressing his hope that they would return to the stage at next year’s ceremony.
