Hong Kong Shue Yan University marked a significant milestone with its 55th Anniversary Celebration and Volunteer Team Launch Ceremony, drawing over a hundred attendees to the Mrs. Dorothy KOO and Dr. Ti Hua KOO Plaza for this historic occasion.
The event brought together members of the Board of Governors, University Council, senior management, faculty, staff, and students, alongside alumni and distinguished guests from the business, political, and education sectors, all showing enthusiastic support.
Highlights of the day included interactive booths hosted by various academic departments, where scholars and students showcased the “Community Service Project Series.” A seminar on “Communication Trends” was also held, led by Mr Francis Ng, Head of Homepage, News and Partnership at Yahoo! Hong Kong.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, alumnus Mr Calvin Lam served as emcee, hosting multiple rounds of lucky draws and presenting specially curated gifts. Faculty, staff, students, and guests alike left with delightful prizes, making the celebration both memorable and meaningful.
