With the release of this year’s HKDSE results, Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) will conclude its first-round admission process this Saturday (18 July). As of midday, the University has received over 13,000 eligible applications (submitted in-person or online)—representing a 15% year-on-year increase.
The most sought-after programmes include:
- Social Work
- Journalism and Communication
- Business Administration
Students can apply in the following periods: (accept in-person and online application)
First round:
- 9:00am – 6:00pm, 15 July
- 9am – 5pm (1pm – 2pm lunch hour), 16-18 July
Second round: (Limited quotas)
- 20 July – 31 August
Additionally, current associate degree and higher diploma students applying for Year 2/3 entry can complete their registration on campus between 16–17 July. Meanwhile, members from various departmental societies and student clubs enthusiastically welcomed the opportunity to recruit incoming freshmen, adding vibrancy to the admissions atmosphere.
