Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) participated in the “Education & Careers Expo 2026”, held from 22 to 25 January (Thursday to Sunday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai.
 
Under the theme “Co-Create Future with Shue Yan”, the University introduced its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and campus life to visiting students, graduates, and parents through course consultations, interactive games, and immersive VR experiences.
 
On the opening day, Dr Jason Chow Tak-sang, Vice President (University Administration), attended the ceremony and introduced the University’s booth to Dr Choi Yuk-lin, JP, Secretary for Education, Ms Sophia Chong, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and members of the media.
Expo Highlight: Hong Kong’s first “Master of Social Sciences in Adversity and Trauma Psychology”
 
Dr Yuen Wing-yan, Associate Professor in the Department of Counselling and Psychology and Director of the programme, will deliver a talk this Saturday afternoon entitled “Building Psychological Resilience: Methods for Promoting Emotional Balance”, sharing practical strategies for maintaining mental well-being. This postgraduate programme is designed to equip mental health professionals with the necessary expertise to meet the growing demand for psychological support in society.
