The Industrial Attachment Office (IAO) organized the HKSYU Internship Partners Appreciation Luncheon on June 20, 2024. The event brought together representatives from internship partners and industrial attachment coordinators from academic departments.

During the academic year 2023/24, a total of 794 students from various disciplines were placed in industrial attachments across 469 companies. These placements included internships at commercial companies, NGOs, social enterprises, schools, and other institutions. IAO organized the luncheon to express the University’s gratitude for the support provided by these employers in fostering the growth of young talents.

The luncheon kicked off with warm welcome remarks by Professor CHEUNG Siu-keung, HKSYU Vice President (University Administration), who thanked the employers for providing valuable internship opportunities and real-life work exposure to students.

The event provided an opportunity for faculty, staff members and employers, to come together and share ideas on internship and hiring practices.
