On April 16, 2025, Hong Kong Shue Yan University’s Industrial Attachment Office (IAO) brought together  internship partners for the“ HKSYU Faculty of Commerce Internship Partners Get-together” on the Braemar Hill Campus. Partner companies were presented Certificates of Appreciation, in recognition of their continued support for the University’s internship programmes.

Eleven business students were also honoured with the Outstanding Internship Award for their professional excellence during their placements.

Speaking at the event, Dr Jason CHOW, HKSYU Vice President (University Administration), noted that nearly 800 students interned across 469 organizations during the past academic year, with the number expected to rise further in the current year. He underscored the value of internships is not only in students’ personal development, but also in contributing to the businesses and the broader community.

Academics and student awardees from the Departments of Accounting, Business Administration, Economic and Finance, and Law and Business joined the event, alongside representatives from partner companies.
