The AIA Foundation awarded the fourth round of AIA Scholarships to outstanding university students in Hong Kong on October 7, 2024. 14 students from Shue Yan University received this Scholarship, including four first-year students who were invited to the ceremony to celebrate their academic excellence and contributions to society.
Mr Alger FUNG, CEO of AIA Hong Kong & Macau,singer Mr Alfred HUI, Shue Yan’s graduate Ms Melody WU, and another scholarship recipient from a different university shared their experiences of facing life’s challenges with resilience and the invaluable support of their mentors.


The AIA Scholarship aims to help students access higher education, broaden their horizons, and develop their potential. Each scholarship recipient receives HK$50,000 per academic year during their undergraduate studies. Applications for the next round of AIA Scholarships will close on February 5, 2025.
