At the launching ceremony of Veea Trollee Partnership and Veea Asia held at Hong Kong Shue Yan University on 26th June, 2023, Prof. Catherine Sun, HKSYU Senior Vice President, thanked Mr. Steven Loke, a member of HKSYU’s Board of Governors and the Executive Chairman of iFREE Group President, for sharing the latest development in retail technology. In her speech, she said the idea of TROLLEE, a smart shopping cart, is more than just a simple shopping cart and could potentially bring revolutionary changes to the retailing landscape.

Mr. Soh Wei Hong, iFREE Group Chief Technology Officer and CEO of TROLLEE, introduced how the company has developed smart retailing technology in the mainland, Asia, Europe and America. The company’s partnership with connectivity solutions provider Veea will see them co-develop the next-generation ad platform, providing personalized customer recommendations.

Separately, iFREE Group, Veea and PT. Bum Desa Indonesia (BDI) signed a memorandum of understanding during the ceremony. Veea has agreed to offer the vast Indonesian population virtual private network (VPN) services.
