HSBC celebrated 284 outstanding students from 20 local universities and higher education institutions at the “HSBC Scholars Day 2024” on July 20,2024, held at the HSBC Main Building. A total of 13 outstanding Shue Yan students have received scholarships, in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements and development.
Three Shue Yan students were awarded “HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship” this year: TSUI Wai-kit from the Department of Sociology, Moses YEUNG Hei-kiu from the Department of Counseling and Psychology, and MAN Ka-hei from the Department of Economics and Finance. Each recipient received a scholarship of HK$50,000.
Additionally, ten students from the Department of Social Work were awarded “HSBC Social Work Scholarship”. They are CHAN Wai-fung, CHEUNG Yiu, Christine LAI, LAW Yan-tung, LIANG Nga-yan, SO Hok-yin, WU Siu-pik, YAU Pik-yi, CHEUNG Powai, and KWONG Pui-ying. Each recipient received a scholarship of HK$20,000.
HSBC supports Hong Kong students through various scholarship programs to nurture potential and make positive contributions to the community.
