Congratulations to students from the Department of Business Administration at Hong Kong Shue Yan University who won the “Make It Happen – Triumph in Marketing” competition this year. The event, took place on May 11, 2024 at the University campus, provided a platform for students to showcase their marketing skills and present innovative Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) strategies tailored to the pioneering anti-pandemic resource donation and matching platform, Share for Good.

Organized in collaboration with Junior Chamber International (JCI), the competition saw enthusiastic participation from 27 student teams enrolled in E-CRM and Business Research courses within the Department of Business Administration. 

The event was graced by Mr. Bruce Lee Sai-wah, Political Assistant to the Secretary for Commerce and Development, HKSAR, who delivered a keynote speech. Mr. Lee underscored the government’s support and recognition of the organizers’ efforts to nurture and promote young talents in the field of commerce and economic development.

A distinguished panel of judges, comprising industry leaders and academic experts, evaluated the participants’ efforts. The panel included Ms. Rebecca Chan, Managing Director of KOS, Ms. Jennifer Lee, Assistant General Manager of Social Innovation Corporate Communication Department at New World Development Company Limited, Ms. Alyse Chu, President of JCI and Dr. Brian Wong, Assistant Professor of the Department of Business Administration, HKSYU.

The judges were highly impressed by the students’ creativity and the impact of their marketing campaigns. The winning teams demonstrated exceptional skills in devising innovative CRM strategies, leaving a lasting impression on both the judges and the audience.
